Melanie King

Notably being one of the first women in Barbados to be involved in real estate sales,

Melanie King is a Shareholder of Altman Real Estate, while also actively serving as a director and real estate agent. Melanie is incredibly well versed in the real estate industry having over 40 years of experience in concierge, property management, property consulting, sales and interior design; having provided her interior design service to clients both locally and regionally. She has served as President of The Barbados Estate Agents and Valuers

Association for two terms and was closely involved with developments taken to market

including Sandy Lane Estate, The Port St. Charles Marina, Sugar Hill Resort, The Apes Hill

Club and Limegrove Lifestyle Centre.

Born in Barbados and educated in the United Kingdom, Melanie is an avid animal lover and

enjoys travelling. She shares her St. James home with her husband and her two Golden

Retrievers.
