Pooka Yhap

Educated in Barbados and the United Kingdom, Pooka began her career in the insurance industry- dedicating twenty-five years of service. During this time, she homed her skills in delivering exceptional customer service which resulted in her being promoted at the managerial level. She joined Altman Real Estate in 2003, initially working in sales administration and event planning. Pooka transitioned into real estate sales in 2007 and enjoys meeting clients, making their wishes come true and forming lasting relationships as a real estate agent. 

Pooka also serves as President of the Barbados chapter of the Royal Society for the prevention of cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) where she has dedicated many years of service. Pooka also has a special love for music and dance and is equally passionate about gardening. She believes we should all leave a smaller carbon footprint on the world, but a lasting contribution to its well-being.

Favorite thing about Barbados: The people and island culture. I love being a part of an island community and contributing to the island’s future.
